Sabahan bears uncanny resemblance to boxer Manny Pacquiao

Aloysius Taidin, 43, is just a rubber tapper earning RM40 per day but whenever he visits the main towns in Sabah, people would greet and request for a photo with him. It is because the man from Kampung Kebatang Baru in Keningau bears an uncanny resemblance to Filipino professional boxer Manny Pacquiao. Taidin said people often mistaken him for Pacquiao due to the similar smile, hair and beard style.  "In 2010, I was watching a fight of Pacquiao in a restaurant and after the match ended, a Singaporean man came to my table and said, 'I really look like the boxer'," Taidin recalled the first time he was told of the resemblance. "I didn't believe him at first because that was the first time I watched Pacquiao's fight, but when I went home and looked into the mirror, I realised the man was right!" he said.
