Snake bites Standard Two pupil in Rembau school


A Standard Two pupil from SK Chembong in Rembau was bitten by a black-coloured snake on the school field Wednesday. The victim, Nor Shafika Mohd Ramadhani, is believed to have been bitten while running during physical exercise at 9.40am. She was admitted into Hospital Tuanku Jaafar (HTJ) in Seremban and stabilised. Negri Sembilan education director Rusni Ab Jalil said that doctor found two snake bites behind the right knee of the child. The state education department was alerted about the incident and is awaiting a report from the district education office. On Tuesday, seven-year-old Nuriey Nadhirah Roslan died after it was ascertained that she had been bitten by a venomous snake at SK Datuk Hashim 1.
