Clearing premises of abandoned lots a costly affair


MPAJ personnel are called to clear the compound of this abandoned house in Ampang Jaya as it is a potential breeding ground for mosquitoes.

FOR the past 15 years, Mohd Ismail Mohd Marzuki and his family who live in Taman Tun Abdul Razak, Ampang Jaya, have had to put up with fallen tree branches, overgrown vegetation and even snakes slithering into their compound.

The reason –  an abandoned house adjacent to theirs.
