MIRI: Villagers living in the highlands of northern Sarawak want an assurance that Petronas will carry out regular safety inspections of the underground gas pipeline at the Sarawak-Sabah border.
Long Sukang community elder Sam Layar expressed concern after hearing that gas supply on the Sabah-Sarawak Petronas Interstate Pipeline project had resumed on Sept 18.
