Aussie High Commissioner: No benefit in closing Lynas

KUANTAN: Australian High Commissioner to Malaysia Andrew Goledzinowski does not believe there will be any benefit in shutting down the Lynas rare earth refinery here.

Describing it as a tragedy should such a move be carried out, he said many jobs and families in the vicinity would be affected while the reputation of Pahang and Malaysia would suffer as a result.
