Stagnant river of rubbish

Laman Residen Residents Association chairman David Yap (in checked shirt) looking over the stagnant water behind his neighbourhood.

RESIDENTS of Laman Residen, off Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur, want a permanent solution to the rubbish-filled Sungai Jinjang tributary at the back of their neighbourhood that is emitting a stench which is getting on their nerves.

Food waste and packaging such as plastic and polystyrene containers as well as undergrowth can be seen in the stagnant river.
