Bukit Payong landfill project put on hold

ISKANDAR PUTERI: The Federal Government has ordered work on the proposed Bukit Payong sanitary landfill project in Batu Pahat, which will involve the use of an incinerator, to be postponed.

Johor Local Housing, Science and Technology Committee chairman Tan Hong Pin said the postponement was made after a meeting with Housing and Local Government Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin.
