‘Developer faces fines’

STERN action will be taken against the developer of a new housing project believed to be causing flooding in Taman Sri Wani if another flash flood occurs in the area.

Jelapang Assemblyman Cheah Poh Hian said the state government will fine the company RM5,000 if the issue reoccurs and a subsequent RM25,000 if the problem is not resolved.
