People shopping for Hari Raya clothes in Angsana Mall Ipoh. Many people interviewed by MetroPerak say they will not wait till June 1, when GST is reduced to 0, to make preparations for the celebration.

ALTHOUGH the Goods and Services Tax (GST) will only be reduced to 0% starting June 1, it is not stopping some people from going ahead and getting their Hari Raya necessities as they prepare for the celebrations now.

Many of those interviewed by StarMetro feel there will not be much difference whether they spend now or next month.
