'Don’t block roads to polling stations’

SMK Bukit Bandaraya, which is often used as a polling station, is located within a gated scheme.

BARRICADES including boom gates, steel gates and mobile fences in Kuala Lumpur housing estates will be removed to prevent obstruction to the voting process when residents head out to cast their votes.

Kuala Lumpur mayor Tan Sri Mohd Amin Nordin Abd Aziz said Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) would contact residents associations (RA), Kawasan Rukun Tetangga (KRT) and joint management bodies (JMB) of high-rises to inform them to remove blockades put up for security purposes on polling day.
