 JOHOR BARU: Sixteen police officers from the Johor Baru North District Police Headquarters have been appointed school liaison officers (PPS) to 16 tahfiz schools located in the area.

Johor Baru North OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Taib Ahmad said the decision was made following a fire at a tahfiz school in Kuala Lumpur that claimed the lives of 23 students and teachers.
