Raising a stink over sewage woe

RESIDENTS in Jalan Sungai Nipah in Balik Pulau, Penang, are claiming that a neglected project by Indah Water Konsortium Sdn Bhd (IWK) is posing danger to them.

Palmyra Residences residents’ association chairman Wong Cu Min said the road in front of the IWK sewage treatment plant in Jalan Sungai Nipah 6 collapsed some time in April, after an underground sewerage pipe leaked.
