Giving students a helping hand

IN encouraging the habit of learning and reading, AIMST University in Bedong, Kedah, has sponsored RM10,000 worth of The Star’s Newspaper-in-Education (NiE) pullout that will go to 10 schools in Penang and Kedah.

The university’s registrar Assoc Prof Dr S. Kathiresan said reading newspapers could help students improve their general knowledge and gain understanding on local issues out of the classroom.
