KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Aviation Commission (Mavcom) has urged AirAsia X Bhd
to fully reimburse its ticket holders whose flights have been cancelled, in view of current developments where they will only receive a fraction of the ticket purchase price.
Earlier on Friday, AirAsia X creditors voted in favour of a debt restructuring exercise that would pave the way for the low-budget long-haul carrier to remit only 0.5% of the RM33.65bil in debt owed.
