Mustapa expects manufacturing output to rebound

Mustapa: ‘Last year was a good year for electronics and semiconductor.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s manufacturing output is expected to rebound from its sharp fall, International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed said.

“Last year was a good year for electronics and semiconductor,” he told a press conference on a study conducted by the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (Mida) together with Universiti Malaya (UM) and Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (Utem) on the future of Malaysia’s manufacturing industry.
