Ali Tinju: No rally today, 'red shirts' being defamed

PETALING JAYA: Photos and messages of a red-shirt rally reportedly being held in the city have been circulating on social media but organisers say there is nothing happening.

Malay Army Veterans Association president Mohd Ali Baharom, better known as Ali Tinju, said that the so-called red-shirt rally on Sunday was not true, adding that there were some quarters trying to “defame” the NGOs which would be part of the Himpunan Rakyat Bersatu (People’s Unity Gathering) on Sept 16.
