Sodomy II: DNA evidence a match, prosecution submits

PUTRAJAYA: The DNA evidence procured from the three items from Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s cell matches the sample obtained from Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan's clothing, the prosecution submitted.

Lead prosecutor Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah (pic) told the Federal Court that chemist Dr Nor Aidora Saedon had analysed the DNA samples obtained from the “Good morning” towel, mineral water bottle and toothbrush taken from the cell occupied by the Opposition leader and found that it matched the “Male Y” DNA profile found on Mohd Saiful’s underwear.
