Three suspected jihadists detained


KUALA LUMPUR: An architect, a technician and a shopkeeper became the latest Malaysians to be detained as suspected jihadists just as the country made its firmest stand against the Islamic State (IS), designating it a “terrorist organisation”.

The three were about to board a flight to Turkey from where they would have found their way into Syria to join the IS.
