Fish farm owners told to move

KOTA KINABALU: Security forces have cut off all sea routes out of Semporna and ordered fish farm owners and managers there to move temporarily to town after gunmen staged another kidnapping attempt near Kampung Bangau-Bangau.

Police have now intensified their hunt for the seven Filipino gunmen who robbed fish farm workers after failing to find and abduct the owners. The couple were not living at the fish farm as they had moved to the Semporna mainland following the recent spate of kidnappings in the area and Lahad Datu.
