KUALA LUMPUR: Legendary Indian music composer A.R. Rahman is all set to dazzle his fans with a glittering concert here in April.

The two-time Oscar winner will perform a concert at Stadium Merdeka on April 26.

"I am very excited (at the prospect) of performing my latest repertoire for my Malaysian fans.

"I haven't performed in Malaysia for quite a while now and I remember my experience for the Unity of Light Concert in 2003 fondly," he said during a press conference at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel on Wednesday.

Rahman said that he tailored his concerts based on the response of the fans.

"Their reaction and the vibe we receive during each concert make it special," he said, adding that he was humbled by the extraordinary fan base he had in Malaysia.

The concert, entitled Infinite Love, is organised by Indian entertainment company DML Live.

The event is also supported by Malaysia Major Events, which falls under the umbrella of the Tourism and Culture Ministry.

The concert will be a three-hour musical extravaganza, with noted playback singers like Mohit Chauhan, Javed Ali, Mano, Chitra and Vijay Prakash joining Rahman on stage.

Rahman's has previously performed in Kuala Lumpur in October 1996 and December 2003

Tickets for the concert, ranging from RM98 to RM1,499, will go on sale from 3pm Friday, and can be purchased online at www.dmllive.com.
