Alleged rapist wishes victim 'sweet dreams'

A rape victim was raped in her own home, and was then wished 'sweet dreams' via text message by her alleged attacker. The victim, a 40-year-old property manager known as Lai, said the incident occurred at her apartment in Kuala Lumpur on May 20 at about 10.45pm. She said the man was a friend who visited her frequently with others after she suffered a back injury a few months ago. To show her gratitude, she invited him to her house for a meal, but was then allegedly attacked. The woman said she only lodged a police report 60 hours after the incident because she was in a state of shock.
