KUALA LUMPUR: Inflation rose 2.5% in September which was in line with economists’ estimates, due to the rise in the index for food and non-alcoholic beverages.
The Statistics Department said on Friday the consumer price index (CPI) increased to 110.7 from 107.9 a year ago.
