SEOUL, South Korea (AP) - FC Seoul kept its faint hopes of reaching the second round of the Asian Champions League alive by defeating Sriwijaya of Indonesia 5-1 on Tuesday thanks to a hat trick from Dejan Damjanovic and two goals from Sim Woo-yeon.
It was a comfortable win in the end for Seoul but the team remains third in the group and needs other results to go its way to qualify for the second round. If Shandong Luneng defeats already qualified Gamba Osaka on Wednesday, the Chinese champion will take second and a place in the last 16.
