WORLD Championships silver medallist Oh Poh Soon had a disastrous start to his SEA Games campaign yesterday. He lost the qiangshu (spear) title in an unfortunate way at the Hanoi Gymnasium.
Poh Soon, who clinched three gold medals at the last Games in Kuala Lumpur two years ago, slipped on the competition mat at the start of his routine.
