MANAMA (Reuters) - Rescuers had only a small window of opportunity to aid Romain Grosjean's miraculous escape from a fiery crash on the opening lap of Sunday's Bahrain Grand Prix, Formula One deputy medical delegate Ian Roberts said.
The French driver's Haas was torn in half and engulfed in flames as it speared through protective barriers immediately after the start, following contact with the AlphaTauri of Daniil Kvyat.
