OBSTACLE course athlete William Yoong (pic) was a relieved man as he thanked his teammates for bouncing back from disqualification in the first run to make it into the men’s relay team gold medal match against the Philippines on Sunday.
William was faulted for two false starts, which resulted in the relay team – comprising Mohd Redha Rozlan, Mohd Azimi Ghalib and Nuur Hafis Said Alwi – also getting disqualified and staring at an early exit at Chroy Changvar Car Park yesterday.
