Radiator runs dry

I OWN an eight-year-old Toyota Hilux Surf 4 Runner fitted with a 3-litre turbocharged engine (1-KZ type). As of last month, the radiator has been running dry, to the point that the engine overheats. The workshop found a leak in the radiator, which was duly repaired, but the problem returned within two days. During a subsequent visit to the same workshop, the radiator cap, all coolant rubber hoses and the thermostat were changed, and all hoses running to the internal heater matrix were blocked off.
