IPOH: The Perak government will not take action against illegal farmers working on state-owned land despite letters sent telling them to vacate the land.
IPOH: Seven farmers are appealing to the state government to be allowed to continue farming on state land, which had been gifted to the Perak football team and its officials after winning last year’s Malaysia Cup.The order was made by the Kinta Land and District office through a letter dated on July 5. The letter also stated that all farmers must vacate the area within 14 days or face the consequences.
