NRD counter in PJ open for MyKad application

The National Registration Department counter in Petaling Jaya is open today for MyKad applications, although it is Christmas Day. NRD public relations officer Rene Harlene Drahman said the counter would be manned as usual from 8am to 4pm, but only for those with appointments.


Free MyKad deadline is Dec 31, 2005

The public need not rush to obtain MyKad before the year-end as the deadline for the free identity card is Dec 31 2005, said Deputy Home Minister Datuk Chor Chee Heung.
