US$2.5bil manufacturing projects get nod in first 7 months

THE Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (Mida) has approved in the first seven months of this year 580 manufacturing projects with investments amounting to US$2.5bil, of which 48% or US$1.2bil consisted of foreign investments, said chairman Tan Sri Zainal Abidin Sulong.
