Canada to see more daily COVID-19 cases, deaths by Christmas: health agency

OTTAWA, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- Canada is expected to see 531,300-577,000 COVID-19 cases and 14,920 deaths from the disease by Christmas Day, said the Public Health Agency of Canada on Friday.

Canada is on a rapid growth trajectory and is not at all flattening the curve of the second wave of cases, the agency said in a national modeling on the COVID-19 pandemic.
