BEIJING: Chinese scientists said that it is very unlikely the novel coronavirus was man-made, and finding patient zero is a formidable task that requires global collaboration to succeed.
Jin Qi, director of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences’ Institute of Pathogen Biology, on Monday said that finding the first infected case is an “extremely difficult scientific problem that requires a great amount of interdisciplinary research”.
