SENIOR Minister Lee Kuan Yew has discontinued a libel suit against former president Devan Nair after doctors diagnosed Devan as suffering from the early stages of dementia, an ailment that affects his memory.
A Canadian newspaper, The Globe and Mail, also a defendant in the suit, first reported Devan’s condition last Thursday.
