LAST Christmas, communication app LINE, took one of its favourite characters, Brown, to join Julie’s in bringing a sweet celebration to fans with its limited-edition Oat 25 Chocolate cookies.
The tremendous response received by Brown’s cookies drove a new collaboration between the biscuit brand and the mobile social network platform, as they introduced another one of LINE’s famous characters, Cony, to Julie’s Oat 25 Strawberry cookies.
“Working together with LINE on the Christmas gift box was a success, so we decided to launch another range as a show of gratitude for the love and support we received,” said Perfect Food Manufacturing marketing manager Benny Chia.
Chia said that due to popular demand, the collection would also be made available in Singapore within the next few months.
The new addition to the limited-edition collection spurred the “Julie’s and LINE Snap, Tag & Win” contest to be held in June, July and August.
Participants will need to snap a creative photo of themselves with Julie’s LINE cookies, share it on Instagram or Facebook with the #JuliesLINEcookies hashtag and stand to win monthly prizes of LINE’s Brown and Cony plush toys.
“We acknowledge the importance of engaging with customers, not just through our app but also via other channels.
“And with strategic partnerships such as this, we are able to tap on more avenues where we can connect better with our users,” said LINE Malaysia public relations manager Patricia Yeoh.
