PONTIAN: Johor needs to find new water sources to meet growing demand, especially with a study showing that both Johor Baru and Kota Tinggi districts will only have enough supply until 2018.
State Public Works, Rural and Regional Development Committee chairman Datuk Hasni Mohammad said the decision came after the study said there was an urgent need for Johor to upgrade its current water resources and find new ones.
