Couples opt to get married on special day which occurs once in a century

OVER 90 couples will register their marriage today to take advantage of the special date of 12.12.12 that occurs once in a century.

Assistant registrar of marriages Datuk Ooi Foh Sing, who is also Ipoh Chinese Chin Woo Athletic Association chairman, said the modern generation liked getting married on dates with the day, month and year bearing the same number.
