New KTM Komuter station to be called Kepong Sentral

We refer to an article by YANC, Petaling Jaya (New station, please KTM), which appear in your column on March 10. 

We would like to thank YANC for the feedback. 

KTM Bhd will be opening its 42nd Komuter station soon. It will be called Kepong Sentral and is located adjacent to Kompleks Desa, Kepong.  

The station will serve new residential areas such as Sri Damansara, Wangsa Permai, Taman Kepong, Taman Ehsan, Desa Aman and Taman Desa. 

The other areas mentioned by YANC are currently served by the Sungai Buloh KTM Komuter Station.  

Apart from Kepong Sentral, KTM Bhd does not have plans to build additional stations between Kepong and Sungai Buloh. 

KTM Bhd is in talks with RapidKL to arrange for feeder bus services for the public's convenience,
