FOR the last 48 years, settlers in two estates in Negri Sembilan have been consuming untreated water daily. Surprisingly, no health complications were reported from either of the areas - since 1957.
State Energy, Water and Communication committee chairman Datuk Mohamad Rais Zainudin said there were currently 88 settlers in Kuala Jelai estate and Felcra Gagu, both in the Jempol district.
