WITH the rising food costs in recent months, the economy rice business has been booming as Ipoh folk are flocking to a handful of economy rice speciality shops in the city.

While the conventional economy rice stalls can be found within Chinese restaurants with other food businesses, the speciality shops, as the name suggests, only serve economy rice.
