Scomnet’s bonus issue approved

PETALING JAYA: Supercomnet Technologies Bhd’s (Scomnet) bonus issue of 214.33 million warrants has been approved by Bursa Malaysia.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Scomnet said that Bursa had also approved the listing of up to 10% of new shares under the proposed ESOS scheme.

Scomnet closed yesterday up four sen to 82 sen on a volume of 2.43 million shares.

On March 29, Scomnet had also proposed a first and final dividend of one sen per share, and a special dividend of 0.5 sen per share.

For its financial year ended Dec 31, 2018, the company announced a huge jump in its net profit to RM12.17mil from RM2.59mil previously.
