Wahid: Govt to continue developing private equity investment


KUALA LUMPUR: The government is committed to continue developing the fast growing private equity investment industry and is keen to attract global and regional private equity firms to make Malaysia their regional operations hub.

"And as more government-linked investment companies allocate additional capital into your funds, we expect there will be reciprocity from your side to help make Malaysia a centre of regional private equity operations," he said at the launch of the Malaysian Private Equity Forum on Tuesday.
