More businesses in Indonesia eligible for tax incentives

JAKARTA (The Jakarta Post/Asia News Network): The Finance Ministry has expanded its list of companies eligible for corporate tax cuts, zero import duties and value-added tax (VAT) restitutions, saying that the Covid-19 pandemic was still weighing on businesses.

Finance Ministerial Regulation No. 149/2021 issued on Oct 26 increases the number of companies eligible for the corporate tax incentive to 481 from 216, the import duty incentive to 397 from 132 and VAT incentive to 229 from 132.
