PUTRAJAYA: The Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) Tuesday warned that the flying of unauthorised drones or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) in the vicinity of airports is strictly prohibited and constitutes an offence under the Civil Aviation Act 1969.
DCA director-general Datuk Azharuddin Abdul Rahman said the approval of the DCA was necessary to fly drones or UAV in Malaysian airspace.
