PETALING JAYA: CP130 championship leader Kasma Daniel Kasmayuddin had to rely on his mental fortitude for his fifth win of the season in the Petronas AAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship in Bandar Baru Kijal, Kemaman, Terengganu.
Despite a gearbox malfunction, the 17-year-old Petronas Yamaha Maju Motor rider went on to clock 16:05.980 and win the sixth round of the championship ahead of Petronas Yamaha-CKJ rider Ahmad Afif Amran (16:06.255) on Saturday. Kasma’s team-mate Abdul Muhaimin Roslan was third in 16:15.282.
