SINGAPORE: Yoshinori Fuji­moto’s (pic) last-minute decision to fly to Singapore proved to be a wise one.

The Japanese golfer vaulted to top spot at the SMBC Singapore Open after completing a third round of five-under 66 yesterday to help him get a step closer to the coveted title.
