GEORGE TOWN: As far as Kedah coach Tan Cheng Hoe is concerned, a one-goal cushion is still better than none.

The Red Eagles edged Police 2-1 in their Malaysia Cup semi-final, first-leg tie at the Darulaman Stadium on Friday. All three goals came from penalties – Thiago Augusto and Liridon Krasniqi converting theirs for Kedah and Guilherme de Paula for the Cops.
