THE 1Malaysia Book Voucher (BB1M) was introduced by the Government exclusively for Form Six and university students to purchase books. Although the vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, many students have managed to do so.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has said that in order to prevent the misuse of the vouchers, students would only be allowed to redeem the books at authorised bookstores.
