JOHOR BARU: Police have recovered a body of a man in the seas off Pantai Lido here.

Johor Baru (South) OCPD Asst Comm Shahurinain Jais said that the man, in his 40s, was found wearing a long-sleeve shirt and short pants at about 1.26pm by the public on Sunday (March 29).

"We have requested aid from the Johor Baru Fire and Rescue Department to help recover the body.

"There was no identification found and the body was taken to the Sultanah Aminah Hospital (HSA) for a post-mortem exam," he said in a statement here.

He added that the case has been classified as sudden death.

He also urged those with a missing family member to come forward to their nearest police station.
