PETALING JAYA: The MCA has called on the Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) to remain impartial and be free from political interference following allegations it was taking instructions from the Executive branch of the government.
An email circular by Solicitor General III Datuk Mohamad Hanafiah Zakaria, which has gone viral, suggested the AGC was not acting independently, said MCA central committee member Chan Quin Er (pic), who is a lawyer.
