Khairuddin fails to put Jho Low on witness stand

KUALA LUMPUR: Former Batu Kawan Umno division chief Datuk Seri Khairuddin Abu Hassan has failed to get Low Taek Jho, or Jho Low, to be cross-examined in his suit to direct Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor to return a 22-carat pink diamond necklace set worth US$27.3mil (RM94mil) allegedly bought with 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) funds.

High Court judge Justice Ahmad Zaidi Ibrahim dismissed Khairuddin’s application to cross-examine Jho Low pertaining to his (Jho Low’s) affidavit to support his (Jho Low’s) application to strike out the suit filed by Khairuddin.
